Choi, E.*, Schuett, J.*, Sugimoto, K., Hung, B., Trager, R., & Perset, K. (2025). Survey on thresholds for advanced AI systems. Oxford Martin Programme on AI Governance Initiative.
Hi, I'm Dana. I build data-driven products and multi-stakeholder engagement models to generate the global evidence base for, and operationalise, international AI policy at the OECD.
Prior to joining the OECD, I was advised by Dylan Hadfield-Menell, Elsa Olivetti, Emőke-Ágnes Horvát, and Juho Kim. Working alongside experts in technical AI safety, supply chain systems, network science, and human-computer interaction, I found myself navigating an incredibly dynamic research landscape. While these experiences occasionally brought moments of existential crisis as a researcher, they ultimately strengthened my adaptability and the versatility needed to tackle real-world challenges of governing advanced AI systems and fostering international cooperation. Looking back, it feels like everything happened for a reason, or at least, we can choose to see it that way!
In my spare time, I like to take a stroll, play with oil pastels, and appreciate others’ creative and artistic talents – here’s my (current!) favorite [playlist | webtoon | art | recipe].
